Safety Warnings & Precautions

The following guidelines are intended to ensure user comfort, health protection, and product durability.

1. First Use and Hygiene

  • Washing before first use: For hygiene reasons and to remove any post-production residues, it is recommended to wash the lingerie before the first contact with skin.
  • Intimate areas: Lingerie has direct contact with mucous membranes. Improper product hygiene can lead to infections. Use mild detergents designed for sensitive skin.

2. Sizing and Health

  • Tight-fitting lingerie: Prolonged wearing of overly tight lingerie can lead to circulatory disorders, skin abrasions, and even digestive issues. Ensure the size is correctly fitted and does not cause excessive pressure.
  • Underwires: In case of material damage or an underwire (wire) protruding from the bra, discontinue use immediately to avoid skin injury or cuts.

3. Materials and Allergies

  • Material Composition: Detailed composition is provided on the label of each product. Most products consist of: polyamide, elastane, polyester, cotton, and polyurethane.
  • Metal Elements: Our suppliers ensure that metal components (such as underwires) are nickel-free or contain only trace amounts. Individuals with a severe nickel allergy should exercise particular caution.

4. Maintenance and Physical Hazards

  • Flammability: Most lace and synthetic lingerie is highly flammable. Keep away from open flames (candles, fireplaces, lighters). Synthetic materials melt under high temperatures, which can cause serious burns.
  • Small Parts (Choking Hazard): Decorative elements such as beads, rhinestones, bows, or charms may detach. Keep the product out of reach of small children and pets to avoid the risk of swallowing.

Instructions for Use

1. Putting on and Fitting a Bra

Properly putting on a bra is crucial for comfort and breast health.

  • The "Scoop and Swoop": After fastening the bra, always use your hand to "scoop" the breast tissue from under the armpits into the cups. This ensures the underwire surrounds the entire breast instead of pressing against it.
  • Strap Adjustment: Straps should not dig into the shoulders or slip off. You should be able to comfortably fit two fingers under the strap. Remember that straps can stretch over time – readjust them regularly after washing.
  • The Band: The bra band should sit horizontally across your back, at the same level as the front. The band (not the straps) provides 80% of the bust support.
  • Jewelry Caution: When putting on lingerie made of delicate lace or tulle, remove rings and watches to avoid snagging the fabric.

2. Putting on and Fitting Panties

Correct sizing and positioning are key to all-day comfort and aesthetics.

  • No Pressure: Panties should adhere to the body without digging in. If the waistband or leg openings create visible "bulges" on the skin, the size is too small.
  • No Bunching: If the fabric bunches at the crotch or back, the size is likely too large. Excess material can cause discomfort and be visible under clothing.
  • Rise Height: Match the rise of the panties to their cut. High-waist panties should reach the waistline, while bikinis or hipsters should sit securely on the hips without slipping during movement.
  • Cotton Lining: Always ensure the internal cotton gusset is in direct contact with intimate areas.
  • Panty Liners: If using liners, apply them carefully. Some delicate materials (e.g., tulle, fine lace) can be damaged by strong adhesives – remove them gently.

Durability and Care

1. Washing Guidelines

  • Hand wash only at a maximum temperature of 30°C.
  • Wash with similar colors.
  • Use mild detergents specifically designed for delicate lingerie.
  • Do not tumble dry.
  • Do not bleach (no chlorine).
  • Do not iron.
  • Do not dry clean.

Machine washing adversely affects the quality and durability of the materials. It may lead to mechanical damage, such as pilling or stretching. High temperatures can deform the product or cause colors to fade. Underwired bras are particularly prone to deformation in washing machines; the spinning process overloads the wires and is a primary cause of underwires poking through the fabric.

2. Storage

  • Padded Bras: Do not fold one cup into the other by turning it inside out. This deforms the smooth surface of the cup. Store bras by lining them up one behind the other ("spooning") in a drawer.
  • Space: Ensure lingerie is not overly compressed in the drawer – it needs "room to breathe" to maintain its shape.

3. Replacement Lifecycle

For hygiene and technical reasons, panties should be replaced on average every 6–12 months of intensive use. Replace them sooner if the elastic begins to break (visible white elastane threads) or the crotch area becomes permanently discolored.

A regularly worn bra (2-3 times a week) typically maintains its properties for approximately 6 to 12 months.

You should replace your bra if you notice:

  • A stretched-out back band.
  • Damaged or snapping underwires.
  • Changes in the cup structure.
  • "Snapping" or brittle elastane.
  • Loss of fabric elasticity.
  • Straps that constantly slip off.
  • Torn, frayed, or damaged material.
